Virginia “Aunt Ginny” Lee Haas Hallman, 79, entered into rest Wednesday, May 18, 2022
Mrs. Virginia was the wife of the late Jackie “Jack” Norman Hallman for 43 years. She was born in Miami, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Nettie Mae Carver Haas and the late John Edward Haas. Mrs. Virginia was also preceded in death by her sister Mary A. Beck and her brother Lewis Edward “Eddie” Haas.
Mrs. Virginia was Mr. Jack’s “team driver” as he was a truck driver owner/operator for over 40 years. Mrs. Virginia and Mr. Jack lived in Bradenton, FL for over 20 years, Clayton, GA for 14 years and Hartwell, GA for 7 years before moving to the Gaston area. Mrs. Virginia attended Christian Fellowship Baptist Church.
Mrs. Virginia and Mr. Jack were endeared to several pets that were their special children; Cha-Cha, Peanut, and Diamond.
Mrs. Virginia was the aunt of Julie Samol, Larry Samol, Rodger Samol, Don and April Samol, Mark and Melanie Samol, Tracy Grogan, Jackie and Cassandra Haas, and several great and great great nieces and nephews. She also has several cousins among whom a few are Steve and Ali Haas, Ian Haas, and Sean Haas.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Blizzard Funeral Home and Cremations Services Chapel. Mrs. Virginia will be buried at Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto, FL beside her husband.
