William "Dee" D. Young

Hollow Creek – Mr. William D. “Dee” Young, 77, entered into rest, on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
Left to cherish Dee’s memories are his wife of 52 years, Judy Whetstone Boles Young, sister-in-law: Deb Young, LeMyra Young, and Linda Kirkland. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

Dee was born on October 7, 1947, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late William Dana Young and the late Catherine “Kay” Terry Young. He is also preceded in death by his son, William McNeil “Little Bill” Young, his siblings: Martha Jeffrey, Terry Young, and Garry Young, and his brother-in-law: Lane Kirkland and Ken Boles.

Dee served his country proudly as a Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. He served as a Mason with the Wagener Cedar Lodge Post# 184. He was also a member of the Local Union #798 Pipeline Association. Dee was a member of Clinton United Methodist church where he served in many capacities. Dee was a simple man, he will be forever loved and missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Dee’s honor to Clinton United Methodist Church, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or Epworth Children’s Home.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Clinton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
